NBC Camps will host basketball camp in Three Hills, Alberta. NBC Total is our 5-day premier high school/college basketball camp. This camp is for serious players who aspire to play at the college or university level. NBC Camps has attracted some of the best players from across Canada. Camp fosters an encouraging, intense environment where campers will work hard as they improve their skills.
NBC stands for Nothing Beats Commitment and has been running camps since 1971. Camps focus on goal setting, mental toughness, leadership, intensity, athletic and life skill mastery, the importance of personal faith and Christian values of integrity, compassion, and that each person is a miracle. Shawn works full time at NBC Camps as the Canada Director and also oversees and coordinates locations around the world. A former basketball player at the University of Calgary, he is passionate about creating an amazing camp experience for kids who come to NBC.

Basketball TOTAL Camp
Boys Dates: August 17-21 Age Group: 15 – 19 years old
Girls Dates: August 16-20 Age Group: 15 – 19 years old
CAMP DESCRIPTION
NBC TOTAL is NBC Camps' premier camp for serious athletes who want to succeed in post-secondary basketball.
This camp is one of our more advanced and intense camps. Former all-star and award winners are invited to attend, but if you are an experienced player who is serious about getting better, you can also submit a coach's recommendation for acceptance. The teaching is geared toward advanced players and the intensity level is a step up.

-Seminars in Leadership, Sports Psychology, Getting Recruited and more
-Weight Training, Nutrition, and Plyometrics
-Evaluation of where each athlete currently stands
-Detailed game plan for each athlete to play college basketball
-Swimming
-Team Uniforms
-Games versus college athletes
POSITION SPECIFIC CAMPS - GUARD, WING AND POST
These camps require more advanced knowledge of the game and provide specific instruction for the guard, wing or post position. Athletes learn both offensive and defensive moves for excelling at a specific position. For athletes ages 10-16.
Sample Daily Schedule
- 7:00 am Wake Up
- 7:30 am Breakfast
- 8:00 am Ball Handling
- 9:00 am AM Session: full court transition, post and guard stations, shooting stations, 5 man motion offense, inbound plays/ games and tournaments
- 12:00 pm Lunch
- 1:30 pm PM Session: offensive attack moves, defensive positioning, court awareness/ 3v3 and 5v5 games
- 5:00 pm Dinner
- 6:30 pm Evening Program and Leadership Groups
- 8:00 pm Night Basketball Event
- 10:00 pm Lights Out
ABOUT THE CAMPUS
Rick Down Athletic Centre (RDAC) The RDAC as a hub of sports and recreation. This multi-purpose facility is the home of Prairie Pilots Athletics, our intramural program and our health and wellness facilities. It includes a centre feature court as well as three individual courts that can be configured for basketball, volleyball, futsal (indoor soccer), racquet sports, and a variety of other court-based sports. It also houses a rock climbing wall, fitness equipment, flexible seating for 1000 spectators, concessions, and full changing room facilities.
