This summer, join NBC Basketball Camps at Southeastern University to master your skills with some of the top coaches in Florida. This camp is ideal for boys aged 11-18 who are willing to work hard and have fun!
Located at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida this camp is perfect for athletes who want to challenge themselves in a fun, intense camp environment. NBC's experienced coaches are dedicated to helping each athlete elevate their skills and reach their full potential. This camp focuses on position-specific training, ball handling skills, shooting, offensive moves, and improving each athlete’s confidence - on and off the court. Three sessions for High School, Middle School, and Junior athletes.
NBC stands for Nothing Beats Commitment and has been running camps since 1971. Camps focus on confidence, goal setting, mental toughness, leadership, intensity, athletic and life skill mastery, the importance of personal faith and Christian values of integrity, compassion, and that each person is a miracle. Camps are hard work and for those who love the sport enough to work hard.

Camp Director Hudson Welty
Hudson Welty is NBC Camp Director for Boys Overnight Camp at SEU. Welty is currently in his first season as the head coach of the Southeastern University Men's Basketball Program. Welty has previously spent time as an assistant at MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas, Arizona Christian University in Phoenix, Arizona, Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana, and Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. In just 7 years, Welty has coached 8 NAIA All-Americans, 15+ All-Conference players, and been a part of 6 National Tournament teams, including a Final Four appearance in the 2021-2022 season. His teams have won a combined 7 conference championships (regular season and tournament), and won over 100 games competing deep into March. During his coaching tenure, Welty has recruited all over the United States with emphasis on the Midwest, Southeast, and the West Coast. He has also led camps for 1,000's of young basketball players of all ages looking to grow on and off the court. Welty loves helping young players grow in their fundamentals and love for the game!

DAILY TIMES & CAMP INFORMATION
OVERNIGHT CAMP SCHEDULE
First-day check-in begins at 1:00 pm for overnight and extended-day campers.
Last-day check-out at 4:00 pm.
EXTENDED DAY CAMP SCHEDULE
First day: 1:00 pm-9:00 pm. Dinner provided.
Middle days: 9:00 am-9:00 pm. Lunch and dinner are provided.
Last day: 9:00 am-4:00 pm. Lunch provided.
Extended-day campers DO NOT sleep on campus or eat breakfast on campus.
CAMP DESCRIPTIONS
Complete Player Camps focus on the crucial keys to becoming a great player. We break our teaching into four focus areas: Individual offense, defense, shooting, and team skills. Campers are separated into teaching groups and teams based on their age and ability. These camps are not for the beginning basketball player. Athletes who attend must have a fair amount of experience and ability appropriate for 6 to 8 hours a day of basketball. We recommend our junior camp option to younger or more beginner athletes.
Complete Player Camps are highly recommended and emphasize extensive skill development, intensity, enthusiasm, leadership, and team. Many athletes who have attended our program go on to play at the college level and beyond. NBC Camps's full-time staff work year-round to make NBC Camps the premier basketball camp in the world. One of the highlights of this week is Intensity Night. Enjoy tournaments, games, and amazing staff who care about helping you become the best person you can be.
ROOMMATES & HOUSING
Roommates for this site need to be requested at least two weeks before camp begins. If you have no preference, we will match you with a camper of the same gender and similar age. Contact [email protected] if you need to add a roommate request.

Bathrooms: Campers share a common bathroom
Supervision: Coaches of the same gender stay in the dorms for supervision.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & OTHER
Ratio: approximately a 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, skill, and experience.
Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own athletic equipment and have at least one pair of well-broken-in basketball (court) shoes. Campers do need to bring their own ball (clearly labeled with their name). Visit our Camp Packing List for a full list of what to bring. NBC Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.
Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
Allergies/Dietary Restrictions/Medical Concerns: please include this on your registration so campus staff and camp staff can be prepared for your camper's arrival and meals.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

Conveniently located along the I-4 corridor between Orlando and Tampa, Lakeland offers the charm of a small town with the convenience of being just a short drive from two major hubs of entertainment, shopping and professional opportunities. 100% of the Southeastern University campus facilities have been newly constructed or renovated since 2004.

Camps are not church camps but do include time for self-reflection on personal beliefs and how these influence basketball success.
