The NBC Difference
Unlike other camp programs where skills training falls under the expertise of the camp director, NBC Camps has built a program of training to help each camper walk out of camp a better player and person. Our site directors work as event managers helping to run a great week of camp and facilitating the implementation of our specific camp expectations. Our basketball instruction is based on skill curriculum and talent development we believe are essential to take your game to the next level. Though coaching styles and drills may change, our master teachers receive DVD's, lesson plans, and detailed training on how to maximize this week of camp. Coaching at camp is much different than coaching a team. With over 40 years experience, our goal is to give you the best basketball and life skills instruction possible.

Camp Questions & Answers
What is the intensity level at this camp?
At all of our camps, we work to provide the appropriate balance of instruction, drill/skill work, live play, intensity, and fun. We aim to challenge each player in an environment of enthusiasm and energy. While NBC overnight camps typically provide the best opportunity for increased levels of intensity, the day camps still are a great option for players who really want to improve. Ideally we divide campers up by age, skill level, and gender. At some camps there is some overlap, but we aim to provide the best group situations for maximum growth.
What do I need to bring to camp?
The most important items to bring to camp include the completed medical release form on the first day of camp so your athlete is able to participate. You should also bring a properly inflated basketball clearly labeled with the campers name as well as a sack lunch and snacks for the day. We also recommend coming with a filled water bottle for water breaks.
