Join Elite Hoops Basketball Camps during summer 2026 at Calvary Day School Savannah, GA! Led by the Elite Hoops Basketball staff, this day camp is designed for young athletes looking to learn fundamentals and build on their existing skills in a fun, safe, and rewarding environment.

The Complete Skills Camp helps players of all abilities develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills and enhance their skill set at the post, wing or guard position.

    Bob Martin

    Camp Director

    Bob Martin has over 20 years of coaching experience at the high school and college level combined. He has served on staff as a Junior Varsity and Varsity Assistant coach at successful programs throughout the state of Indiana such as: Muncie Burris, Concord, Indianapolis Roncalli, Elkhart Memorial and Hamilton High School. As the Boys Head Varsity Basketball Coach at Hamilton, Martin guided a losing team to the best record it has seen in 16 years as well as helping the team record the best defensive average over the past 25 years.

    In 2005 Coach Martin relocated to Brunswick, Georgia where he served as the Freshman, Junior Varsity and Varsity Assistant boys basketball coach at Glynn Academy. Bob helped the Red Terrors capture three region titles and reach the final 8 and sweet 16 in the state tournament.

    At the collegiate level, Bob served as Men's Assistant Basketball Coach at the College of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick, GA from 2008-2012 and Women's Assistant Coach at the College of Coastal Georgia during the 2012-13 season. As an assistant at CCGA, Bob helped guide the Lady Mariners to a top 15 national ranking, a 15-0 start to the season and the College of Coastal Georgia's best win/loss record in the history of the school. On the men's side, Bob helped the Mariners transition from a JUCO to a four year NAIA DI program in the Southern States Conference.

    Most recently Bob served at Lambert High School and King’s Ridge Christian School. At King’s Ridge Bob led the Tigers to two state finals appearances where they were fortunate enough to win the school’s first ever state championship in 2023.

    Bob currently serves as boys head coach at Pickens High School in Jasper, GA. Coach Martin’s inaugural season led to a 21-9 record and a Sweet 16 appearance.

    Bob is married to Shawn Martin. Together they have three children Isaac, Bella and Jamin.

    The Elite Hoops Basketball (EHB) staff is comprised of some of the best coaches in the area, specializing in camps, clinics, training sessions, leagues, and travel teams. Elite Hoops Basketball has been in partnership with Nike Basketball Camps for over 12 years, directing some of the Southeast's most popular day basketball camps.

    They are dedicated to providing athletes with the proper training and tools necessary to help improve your fundamental skills, offensive and defensive moves, and overall game in a fun and motivating environment. In 2016, EHB directed over 50 Nike Basketball Camps across eight southeastern states (Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee) with over 3600 players in attendance!   • Boys Session I: June 1-5
  • Boys Session II: June 22-26
  • Boys Session III: July 13-17

Camp Hours

  • Check-in: Monday at 8:30am
  • Closing Ceremony: Friday at 11:30am
  • Meals: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a packed lunch.
  • Daily Hours: MON-THURS 9AM-3PM FRI 9AM-12PM

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Morning and afternoon training sessions
  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours
  • Lunch: Lunch is not provided, please bring a sack lunch each day
  • Camp T-shirt & Prizes: Campers at multi-day camps will receive a Nike Basketball Camps t-shirt and prizes. *1-day clinics excluded
  • Basketballs: Basketballs are provided for instruction during camp

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director's discretion
  • Facility: Indoor courts
  • Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

BASKETBALLS

Nike All Court Elite Basketballs can be purchased during registration for $35. Players can choose between a size 6 (28.5", standard girls) or size 7 (29.5", standard boys) ball, which will be passed out on the last day of camp. Please note that it is not required to bring a basketball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction.

PRE-CAMP CHECKLIST

To view your customer account, complete your mandatory forms, pay balance dues, and review important camp information, visit Pre-Camp Checklist. All necessary camp information is on this page. If there are any imperative changes prior to camp start, registered campers will be notified via email and this webpage will be updated!

PACKING LIST

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

CAMPER EVALUATION

Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

COMPANY POLICIES

If you need to cancel for any reason up until 24 hours prior to camp check-in, you will receive a camp credit voucher for tuition fees paid that is good through the following year for any sport and is transferable to any immediate family member. Participants who DO NOT attend their registered session (no-shows for any reason) or who do not contact USSC to cancel at least 24 hours prior to camp check-in will not receive a voucher or refund. Cash refunds are given only if Cancellation Protection was purchased at the time of registration and the cancellation is made before your balance due date.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.
