Join Coach DJ Gay and Mason Biddle in San Diego for summer 2026 at Francis Parker School. Join them and their impressive staff for this boys only day camp, and hone in on your basketball skills in a competitive and focused environment.

The Complete Skills Camp helps players of all abilities develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills and enhance their skill set at the post, wing or guard position.

    Mason Biddle will be entering his Second season as the Head Coach at Francis Parker. Biddle started his coaching career as the Assistant Coach at Bishops from 2018-2020. In 2 seasons he helped the Knights to a 32-29 record and a Semi-Final appearance in the Division 2 playoffs in 2018.

    In 2021 Biddle took the Assistant job at La Jolla Country Day and helped them to a 13-10 record during COVID. In 2022 Biddle moved to Carlsbad High School as the Head Assistant Coach and helped them to a 24-12 record and a D1 CIF Championship! Carlsbad also won a home game in the State Playoffs that year against Taft. Biddle in his first year with the Lancers led them to a 11-18 record and is very excited about the future of this program. “Taking this job I knew we would be in a rebuilding stage. We were fortunate enough to get some very talented student athletes in and the future is bright for the boys basketball program!”

    In his playing days, Biddle was a starting point guard for Western State Colorado University in the 2013-14 and 2014-15 season, in which he led the team in assists and was a team captain. He made his way to Gunnison after spending two seasons playing for Riverside Community College where he was a 1st Team Orange Empire All-Conference selection his freshman and sophomore year.
 
In his career at Western State, Biddle averaged 15.7 points, started in all 50 games played as a Mountaineer, and dished out 230 assists in just two seasons. He was also able to climb to sixth in the career record books with 269 made free throws while finishing third on the single-season record list with 170 made free throws. In Biddle’s senior season he was named to the Second Team All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC), while he paced Western with 17.6 points per game for seventh-best in the RMAC. He also ranked in the top 10 in the league with 34.2 minutes played (3rd), 4.8 assists (4th), and a 1.7 assist-to-turnover ratio (7th).
 


    Biddle graduated in 2015 with his Bachelors of Arts in Exercise and Sports Science. After graduation Biddle continued his basketball career playing professionally in Germany. Biddle played for VFL Stade in Hamburg, Germany for a full season and led his team to a conference record of 15-5 for 2nd best in the league. Biddle started in all 20 games with the club and averaged 13.0 points per game, 5.7 rebounds, and led the league in assists with 5.2. At the end of the year he was named Defensive of Player of the Year and 2nd Team All-Regionalliga.

    DJ Gay is the current Head Boys Basketball Coach at Windward School and former professional basketball player.

    Prior to his coaching career, DJ Gay played at San Diego State from 2007-2011 under legendary Coach Fisher and was captain of the 2011 Sweet 16 team.

    From 2011- 2013, he Played professionally in Europe including Slovenia, Italy and Ukraine.

    From 2014-2021, Coach Gay founded and Operated the San Diego Bulldogs, which was one of the largest club programs in Southern California, included over 350 boys and girls under one roof.

    In 2017, he was inducted into the SDSU Hall of Fame.

    From 2017-2020, he was the Head Varsity Coach at Victory Christian where we won 3 league titles before becoming Head Coach at La Jolla Country Day and led them to a San Diego Division 1 Final.

    Coach Gay was hired to be the Boys Basketball Coach at Windward School in 2022.

  • Complete Skills I: June 29-July 3
  • Complete Skills II: July 20-24

Camp Hours

  • Check-in: Monday at 8:30AM
  • Closing Ceremony: Friday at 11:30AM
  • Meals: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a packed lunch
  • Daily Hours: MON-THURS 9AM-3PM, FRI 9AM-12PM

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Morning and afternoon training sessions
  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours
  • Lunch: Lunch is not provided, please bring a sack lunch each day
  • Camp T-shirt & Prizes: Campers at multi-day camps will receive a Nike Basketball Camps t-shirt. *1-day clinics and fall, winter and spring camps excluded.
  • Basketballs: Basketballs are provided for instruction during camp

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director's discretion
  • Facility: Indoor courts
  • Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

BASKETBALLS

Nike All Court Elite Basketballs can be purchased during registration for $35. Players can choose between a size 6 (28.5", standard girls) or size 7 (29.5", standard boys) ball, which will be passed out on the last day of camp. Please note that it is not recommended to bring a basketball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction.

PRE-CAMP CHECKLIST

If there are any imperative changes prior to camp start, registered campers will be notified via email and this webpage will be updated!

PACKING LIST

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

CAMPER EVALUATION

Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

COMPANY POLICIES

If you need to cancel for any reason up until 24 hours prior to camp check-in, you will receive a camp credit voucher for tuition fees paid that is good through the following year for any sport and is transferable to any immediate family member. Participants who DO NOT attend their registered session (no-shows for any reason) or who do not contact USSC to cancel at least 24 hours prior to camp check-in will not receive a voucher or refund. Cash refunds are given only if Cancellation Protection was purchased at the time of registration and the cancellation is made before your balance due date.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.
