Campers will work TJ Gray, former Division I Coach at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and get better through a mix of on-court drills and classroom discussions to enhance overall skills and basketball IQ.
Pro Level Training Nike Basketball Camps mission is to provide players with the skills and mental approach they need to become a better and more explosive player. Emphasis is placed on fundamentals, footwork, balance, and conditioning.

Camp Director TJ Gray
Pro Level Training Coach TJ Gray coached Division 1 basketball from 2010-2014 at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE). Gray was involved in many facets of the program including practice preparation, managing the recruiting database and film exchange with opposing teams.View TJ Gray's Bio ⟩
Gray began his playing career at Western Illinois, where he played for two seasons. He played a single season at UIC before finishing his career at SIUE. He then went on to obtain his Bachelors Degree from Illinois-Chicago in Business Management in 2007. He earned a Masters Degree in Sports Management from SIUE in 2010.
Gray spent one season as a player at SIUE, under coach Forrester. He earned All-GLVC Second Team honors in 2007-08, when he shattered the school record for three pointers made, making 102 triples during the season. Gray led the team in scoring, averaging 16.6 points for the season. He registered the most steals on the team for the season with 49, and also shot a team-best .833 from the free throw line. He later played professionally with the Roseto Sharks in Italy's Serie C2.
TJ Gray made 30 appearances and nine starts in one season with the Flames while finishing third on the team in scoring with 11.1 points per game. He tied the UIC single-season record with 90 three-pointers made, shot 90 percent from the free throw line and 41 percent from three-point range. TJ led UIC in scoring in four outings. Gray scored a career-best 22 points, including six three-pointers, Jan. 13 vs. Loyola and dished out a career-best five assists vs. Detroit Jan. 20. He sat out the 2005-06 campaign per NCAA Transfers Guidelines.
Western Illinois, 2003-2005:
Gray was a two-year starter at Western Illinois University averaging 7.2 points, 1.6 assists and 1.2 rebounds per game as a sophomore for the Leathernecks while shooting 43 percent from three-point range. As a freshman, Gray averaged 10.0 points and 3.1 assists per outing en route to Mid-Continent Conference All-Newcomer Team accolades. TJ also set Leatherneck freshman records for three-pointers made and three-point percentage while scoring in double figures 21 times during his time at Western Illinois, including a career-best 22-point effort versus Oakland on Jan. 5th, 2004.

The idea of Pro Level Training was conceived from Founder Joel Green’s desire to bring the “Pro” style of training and preparation to youth athletes. He saw that there was a need for athletes to learn how to properly prepare their minds and bodies for the game of basketball.
Our goal is to improve the quality of individual on court performance by providing clients with the physical & mental tools needed to get to the next level of their career. We enjoy both training and educating players to get the most out of each session.

Daily Hours: MON-THURS 9am-3pm FRI 9am-12pm
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability. Parents are invited to attend the closing ceremony! Departure immediately following.
Transportation is not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.
A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact numbers, and a checklist of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring. The US Sports Camps health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp.
We cannot offer scholarships due to NCAA regulations. Our affiliation with NCAA coaches and schools puts us in a position where any scholarship money can be seen as an inducement to a future collegiate athlete. This puts our coaches and our host universities in jeopardy of damaging their status with the NCAA and incurring penalties at the hands of their organizing body.

The 50,000 sq. ft. air-conditioned Joy of the Game Sports Center is among the premier amateur playing environments in the Midwest with two professional level Connor wood courts. Their courts were recently featured in Chicago Magazine as the area’s best “NBA-Caliber Basketball Courts.” The facility also sports two high school regulation-sized multipurpose courts which are used for basketball, volleyball and other sports. All of the courts are available for rental for tournaments, parties, leagues and other events. Their upstairs mezzanine level provides additional seating for up to 250 spectators and is home to our concession area where we serve a wide array of snacks, beverages and other food items.
The Joy of the Game Sports Center is conveniently located within 25 miles of downtown Chicago and three miles from I-94 / I-294 and the Edens Expressway.
