This 2019 summer basketball camp in Toledo, OH is sure to sharpen your skills and knowledge of the game! Campers will work in small groups with players of similar ability level through challenging drill stations, footwork and shooting instruction, competitive scrimmages, and fun activities to help them reach their fullest potential as an athlete.
The Complete Skills Camp helps players of all abilities develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills and enhance their skill set at the post, wing or guard position.

Camp Director Matt Jones
Matt Jones is the owner and head basketball trainer at Matt Jones Hoops LLC based out of Lexington, KY. He works with athletes grades K-12 as well as college and professional athletes in the summer and is currently training 40+ players of all levels. He also specializes in college recruiting and placement assistance for high school athletes.View Matt's Bio ⟩
From 2016-2018, Coach Jones worked at Combine Academy in Lincolnton, NA as a Program Director & National Team Head Coach. While there his responsibilities included recruitment & overseeing 40+ basketball student-athletes that compete on 4 separate teams as well as managing 6 other coaches within the program. He also placed 40+ student-athletes in athletic scholarship college situations in a 2-year period (10+ NCAA D1 scholarships).
Before arriving at Combine Academy, Coach Jones worked at Miami Dade College in Kendall, FL as an assistant coach for the NJCAA DI Men's Basketball team. His responsibilities included recruiting, academic progress, skill development, and analytics for the fast-paced and chaotic style of play.
From 2014-206, He worked at Spring Hill College as a Graduate Assistant Coach after earning his bachelor's degree in Social Science from Lourdes University in Sylvania, Ohio. While at Spring Hill he got a master's degree in Liberal Arts with a Leadership & Ethics concentration. Jones played two seasons of junior college basketball and has numerous coaching experiences including camps at the University of Kentucky, Purdue University, and Indiana University.

Meals: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a packed lunch.
Daily Hours: MON-THURS 9am-4pm
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.
Transportation is not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.
A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact numbers, and a checklist of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring. The US Sports Camps health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp.
We cannot offer scholarships due to NCAA regulations. Our affiliation with NCAA coaches and schools puts us in a position where any scholarship money can be seen as an inducement to a future collegiate athlete. This puts our coaches and our host universities in jeopardy of damaging their status with the NCAA and incurring penalties at the hands of their organizing body.
