The Complete Skills Camp helps players of all abilities develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills and enhance their skill set at the post, wing or guard position.

    Harrison Singer

    Camp Director

    Harrison Singer is an accomplished basketball coach with over two decades of experience at the high school, collegiate, and international levels, with deep roots in Pennsylvania basketball. Coach Singer will be the Nike Camp Director at Gettysburg College this summer and has been working as a Director at Nike US Sports Camps since 2023, helping tons of young athletes reach their goals and placing numerous student-athletes at colleges and universities all across the country.

    At the collegiate level, Singer brings nearly 20 years of coaching experience across NCAA Division I, II, and III programs nationwide. Most recently, he served at St. Thomas University (Miami) as Head Coach of the Men’s Basketball Developmental Team and Lead Recruiting Coordinator, helping build one of the strongest recruiting classes in program history and advancing to back-to-back Championship games. During his tenure, he also earned a Master’s degree in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University.

    On the international stage, Singer was recently named Head Coach of the Team USA Maccabiah Men’s Open 3v3 Team for the 2025-2026 Maccabiah Games in Israel. He has also been involved with Team USA Maccabi Junior Basketball, which captured a Gold Medal at the 2009 Games in Israel. As a former player, Singer competed internationally, earning Gold Medals in England, Scotland, and Detroit, along with a Silver Medal in Boca Raton.

    Throughout his career, Singer has held coaching and instructional roles across the Tri-state area, including time at Temple University, Haverford College, Wilmington University, and University of Pennsylvania Elite Camp, Gwynedd Mercy University and Immaculata University, as well as serving as a coach in the legendary Sonny Hill College League. He has also worked as an instructor for the Philadelphia 76ers Camps, University of Pennsylvania summer camps, and Hoop Group Elite. In addition, Singer currently serves as Head Coach of the Philadelphia Maccabi 17U Men’s Basketball Team, leading the program to multiple medal finishes, including Gold Medals in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2025 (University of Pittsburgh).

    Beyond the court, Singer is the Founder and Chairman of the Annual Get Gutsy 3-on-3 Basketball Fundraiser Tournament, which benefits the GI Department at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, underscoring his long-standing commitment to giving back to the Pennsylvania community.

    Singer is currently the Head Boys Basketball Coach at the Hebrew Academy in Miami Beach, Florida, where he guided the Warriors to a Top 100 state ranking in his first season and in his second season, lead the team to a District Championship appearance. Under his leadership, the program recorded an 18–6 record, one of the most successful seasons in school history, and advanced deep into the Florida State Tournament.

    In addition to his coaching career, Singer is the Co-Founder and Camp Director of the Philadelphia Men’s Basketball League (PMBL) Youth Basketball Camp, and leads international outreach efforts in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, providing basketball programming to nearly 600 underserved youth annually.

    Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, Singer is a graduate of Harriton High School (Lower Merion, Class of 2002), where he was a four-year varsity letterman and two-year team captain. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science from Muhlenberg College, where he also competed as a collegiate basketball player. Singer later pursued graduate studies at Temple University, further strengthening his ties to Philadelphia and the Pennsylvania basketball community.

  • Overnight Campers Check-in: Sunday between 3pm-3:30pm at Hanson Hall
  • Extended Day Campers Check-in: Sunday between 3:45-4:15pm at Hanson Hall
  • All Campers Closing Ceremony: Wednesday at 3:30pm

*Parents are invited to attend the closing ceremony

Overnight Campers

Housing & Roommates

Campers will reside in the apartment dorms on campus and will stay in suites that room 4-5 campers, assigned by age and roommate requests. If you have a roommate request, and have not already given it to us, please do so as soon as possible. Roommate requests are not guaranteed, if you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!

Supervision

The staff live in the dormitories with the campers and participate in evening activities. Drugs, alcohol, and tobacco are strictly prohibited and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.

Swimming

Campers will be given access to the recreation pool on campus, please pack accordingly.

Extended Day Campers

On the first day of camp, all extended day campers should arrive dressed and ready to play. Drop off and pick up locations will be given out at registration.

Sunday:
♦ Extended Day Campers stay until 8:30pm.
♦ Dinner is provided.

Monday-Tuesday:
♦ Extended Day Camper Hours are 9am-8:30pm.
♦ Lunch and dinner provided.

Wednesday:
♦ Extended Day Camper Hours are 9am-3:30pm.
♦ Lunch is provided.
♦ Check-out immediately follows closing ceremony.

Daily Schedule: SUN 2pm-8:30pm, MON-TUES 8:45am-8:30pm, WED 9am-3:30pm

SWIMMING

Campers will be given access to the recreation pool on campus, please pack accordingly.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

CAMPER EVALUATION

Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

COMPANY POLICIES

If you need to cancel for any reason up until 24 hours prior to camp check-in, you will receive a camp credit voucher for tuition fees paid that is good through the following year for any sport and is transferable to any immediate family member. Participants who DO NOT attend their registered session (no-shows for any reason) or who do not contact USSC to cancel at least 24 hours prior to camp check-in will not receive a voucher or refund. Cash refunds are given only if Cancellation Protection was purchased at the time of registration and the cancellation is made before your balance due date.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.

Campers will train in The Bream Wright Hauser Athletic Complex and the John A. Hauser Fieldhouse. The athletic complex is the home to all indoor varsity and recreational sports at Gettysburg College, in addition to serving as the center of the athletics department. The complex is air conditioned. The fieldhouse has a playing surface of 24,500 square feet and contains three full-size basketball courts, four regulation tennis courts, five volleyball courts, and a 1/11-mile four-lane track. The Fieldhouse is used as a practice venue for many of Gettysburg's varsity and recreational teams, and is often utilized by outside organizations for camps and auctions. The fieldhouse does not have air conditioning.
