Join the College of New Jersey Assistant Coach Oliver Ortman and staff at our New Jersey basketball camp during summer 2024. Located four miles away from TCNJ, camp at The Pennington School is designed to help campers take their game to the next level through intensive drill work, competitive gameplay, and more!
The Complete Skills Camp helps players of all abilities develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills and enhance their skill set at the post, wing or guard position.

Overnight Campers Check-in: Monday between 12:30pm-1pm on the Main Plaza
Day Campers Check-in: Monday between 2pm-2:30pm on the Main Plaza
All Campers Check-out: Thursday between 12pm-1pm

OVERNIGHT CAMPERS
HOUSING & ROOMMATES
Overnight campers will reside in the Buck Hall & Old Main dorms on campus and stay two per room. If you have a roommate request, and have not already given it to us, please do so as soon as possible. Roommate requests are not guaranteed, if you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!

SUPERVISION
The staff live in the dormitories with the campers and participate in evening activities. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.
DAY CAMPERS
On the first day of camp, all day campers should arrive dressed and ready to play. Drop off and pick up locations will be given out at registration.
Monday:
♦ Day Campers stay until 5pm.
♦ Meals are not provided.
Tuesday-Wednesday:
♦ Day Camper Hours are 9am-5pm.
♦ Lunch is provided.
Thursday:
♦ Day Camper Hours are 9am-12pm.
♦ Meals are not provided.
♦ Check-out immediately follows closing ceremony.
Daily Schedule: MON 2pm-5pm, TUES-WEDS 9am-5pm, THURS 9am-12pm
JERSEY DAY
Tuesday is Jersey Day! All campers are encouraged to wear a jersey on Tuesday to represent the team they play on, their favorite player, or favorite team. Please pack accordingly.
NINTENDO GAME NIGHT
We’ve partnered with Nintendo to offer one fun game night during camp, allowing campers to take the competition off the court and onto the Nintendo Switch system with sports-focused games. If you do not wish for your camper to participate, please be sure to let a staff member know at Check In.
BASKETBALLS
Nike Versa Tack Basketballs can be purchased during registration for $30. Players can choose between a size 6 (28.5", standard girls) or size 7 (29.5", standard boys) ball, which will be passed out on the last day of camp. Please note that it is not required to bring a basketball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction.

CAMPER EVALUATION
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.
