at Nike Basketball Camps
Head to the Salisbury University Basketball Camp in summer 2024 and receive instruction from the Salisbury University Women's Basketball Coaching staff. You will get the opportunity to work on skill developmental drills, shooting technique, footwork, and fun activities in a focused environment.
The All Skills Camp helps players of all abilities develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills and enhance their skill set at the post, wing or guard position.
The Shooting Camp emphasizes technique, footwork, shooting drills, shooting off the dribble, shooting off the pass, shooting games, free throw shooting, and post/perimeter shooting.

Salisbury University is excited to welcome Aprile Preller as the new Women’s Basketball Head Coach and camp director at Salisbury University. Preller returns to her alma mater after spending four seasons on staff at Marymount University (Va.), as an assistant coach.

2024 Camp Dates
All Skills: June 17-20
Shooting: June 20-22
*The June 17-20 camp is sold out, the June 20-22 camp still has Extended Day spots available*
All Skills Camp Hours:
Check-in: Monday between 1pm-2pm at Manokin Hall
Closing Ceremony: Thursday between 11:30am and 12pm, parents are welcome to attend
*Campers Attending both the All Skills Camp AND the Shooting Camp will be provided lunch from 12PM-1PM on Thursday, June 20th.*
Shooting Camp Hours:
Check-in: Thursday between 12:30pm-1:30pm at Manokin Hall
Closing Ceremony: Saturday between 2:30pm-3pm, parents are welcome to attend
OVERNIGHT CAMPERS
Campers will reside in Manokin Hall dorms on campus and stay two per room. Roommate requests must be submitted by June 7th for the All Skills camp and June 10th for the Shooting Camp. Roommate assignments are finalized 3 days prior to the camp session starting. We will do our best to accommodate roommate preferences but cannot guarantee them. You will be contacted in advance should we have any questions regarding roommate requests. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!

Tuesday-Wednesday:
♦ Extended Day Camper Hours are 9am-8:30pm.
♦ Lunch and dinner provided.
Thursday:
♦ Extended Day Camper Hours are 9am-12pm.
♦ Lunch is not provided.
♦ Check-out immediately follows closing ceremony.
Daily Schedule: MON 2pm-8:30pm, TUES-WED 8:45am-8:30pm, THURS 9am-12pm

BASKETBALLS
Nike Versa Tack Basketballs can be purchased during registration for $30. Players can choose between a size 6 (28.5", standard girls) or size 7 (29.5", standard boys) ball, which will be passed out on the last day of camp. Please note that it is not required to bring a basketball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction.

CAMPER EVALUATION
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.

The Maggs Physical Activities Center is home to the Salisbury University varsity athletic teams and the physical education department. The main gymnasium, on the lower level, is home to the men's and women's basketball teams and the women's volleyball team. The main gym can seat over 2,300 fans and features a press box, wireless internet, sound system and an electronic scoreboard.
