Camp Director is Alexis Venechanos, Lake Forest Academy’s Associate Athletic Director and Head Girl’s Lacrosse Coach. Over the last twenty years, Venechanos has had decorated women's lacrosse playing and coaching careers at the NCAA and international levels. She is a winner of four NCAA Women’s Lacrosse National Championships, coached numerous All- Americans and also mentored many assistant coaches to current head coaching positions across the NCAA and prep level.

Alexis graduated from the University of Maryland and was a member of two NCAA National Championship women’s lacrosse teams (2000, 2001), serving as team captain and earning All-American. Venechanos served as assistant women's lacrosse coach for Northwestern University. In three seasons with Northwestern, the team won back-to-back NCAA Championships (2005, 2006). Her head coaching career started in 2006 at the University of Massachusetts, followed by Ohio State University for nine seasons and most recently at Otterbein University. Venechanos also holds experience as head coach of the Canadian National Team (2012-13). She led Team Canada to its best finish in history with a silver medal at the Women’s Lacrosse World Cup.
