Alicia Komaki is entering her twelfth season as Head Coach of the Girls Basketball team in the 2023-2024 season. In 2023, Coach Komaki led her team to an ESPN National Championship finishing the season ranked number one in the country. In her tenure as Sierra Canyon head coach, Komaki has led here teams to five California State Championships. Coach Komaki has 7 state championship rings, and 2 national championship on her resume.

In 2023, Komaki was a finalist for the Naismith National Coach of the year and selected to coach the Jordan Brand All-American team. In 2022, she was named the WBCA Pat Summit, National Coach of the year. 2019, Komaki was honored as the LA Times coach of the year, Cal-Hi Sports Coach of the year, Daily News Coach of the Year and was a finalist for the USA Today and the Wilson WBCA National Coach of the Year. Komaki was also chosen to coach the 2019 Jordan Brand National All-American Game in Las Vegas.

In 2017, Komaki was selected as 1 of 4 National coaches to be a court coach for the USA Basketball U16 National Team Trials in Colorado Springs.

At Sierra Canyon, Komaki has an overall record of 286-58 with an 83% win percentage in eleven years.
