Amanda Hicks
Assistant Coach
Amanda Hicks begins her second season as an assistant basketball coach at Goshen College in 2016-17.
An alumna of Grand Valley State University and Arizona State University, Hicks taught and coached at West Catholic High School in Grand Rapids, Mich., for five years, compiling a freshman basketball record of 86-12. She was also an assistant basketball coach for an Estrella Foothills (Ariz.) girls team that reached the state final four, compiling a 44-1 record in three years as the JV coach. Hicks also served as an assistant softball coach at each high school and has been a head or assistant site director for McCracken Basketball Camps since 1999.
Hicks lives in Goshen, where she is the assistant principal at Parkside Elementary School. She enjoys running and describes herself as a beginner triathlete.
