Amanda Miles

Amanda Miles is the Head Volleyball Coach at Santa Fe Christian High School in Solana Beach. Previously she coached at Academy of Our Lady of Peach and assisted Varsity at Francis Parker High School as well as helped with both the boys and girls middle school programs.

Amanda Miles was raised in Eugene, Oregon and attended Sheldon High School in Eugene, Oregon. In high school, Amanda was a First-Team All-State and All-League selection in Volleyball, along with being her league MVP her senior year. She also lettered in tennis in high school and competed at the state tournament as a junior and senior.

She continued her volleyball career in Pocatello, Idaho for the Division I school, Idaho State University. After two productive seasons, Amanda chose to transfer to beautiful Point Loma Nazarene University. At PLNU, she continued to excel in the classroom and on the court where she was a setter for the Sea Lions during her junior and senior seasons. Amanda graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Food & Nutrition in 2009 and also with her Masters of Business Administration in 2012.

Amanda spent 2 years at Point Loma High School with the Boys Varsity program. For the past four years Amanda was at Beach and Bay Volleyball Club where she spent three years as the Assistant Director and one year as the Director, coaching at the 14's, 15's and 16's levels. Prior to Beach & Bay, she was a coach for four years at Solana Beach Volleyball Club gaining experience with the 10’s, 14’s, and 17’s, and 18’s teams.

Amanda has an ever-growing passion for the sport of volleyball and feels incredibly blessed to have made coaching it a career. She enjoys sharing her love for the game with her athletes and motivating them to reach their goals. Amanda has touched many young lives helping her players grow as athletes on the court and people in their communities. She is also a proud wife to her husband Mike and a brand new mother to her son Nolan.
