Ambrose Mosley was named assistant coach and director of operations at Bethune-Cookman Unviversity on July 17, 2024. Mosley returns to B-CU after serving as director of player personnel and assistant coach at Eastern Kentucky since 2022.

As director of player personnel, Mosley coordinated player nutrition, oversaw skill development, assisted in scouting and film breakdown, served as the liaison to the Bratzke Student-Athlete Academic Success Center, and assisted with needs of the student-athletes.

In 2022-23 Mosley was part of a staff that helped the team win 23 games, the third most in one season in program history. The Colonels reached the championship game of the College Basketball Invitational (CBI). It was the program’s first national postseason tournament title game ever and the first time in 78 years that an EKU team won three games in a national tournament.

Mosley spent the 2021-22 season as an assistant coach at Bethune Cookman University where he oversaw operations, was responsible for video support and assisted with on-court coaching. During the 2020-21 season, Mosley was an assistant coach at Life University. He coached the guards, including two all-conference honorees. From 2017 to 2020, Mosley was an assistant coach for the post-graduate basketball program at Hargrave Military Academy.

The Jacksonville, Florida native played three seasons at Old Dominion before concluding his collegiate career at UNC Wilmington in 2016-17. He helped ODU to its first-ever top-25 national ranking during his sophomore season. As a senior at UNCW, Mosley averaged 8.1 points per game while helping the team win the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament championship and earn a spot in the NCAA Tournament. He played a post-grad season at Hargrave Military Academy in 2011-12, leading the team to a 38-1 record and a national tournament appearance.

Mosley earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Old Dominion University in 2016. He completed a master's degree in adapted physical education at UNC Wilmington in 2017 and a master's in psychology at Life University in 2021.
