Amy Schlauder

Coach Amy Schlauder is the former Varsity Women's Volleyball Coach at Durango High School and former BYU collegiate standout.

Schlauder was voted Southwest Division Coach of the Year in 2016, Sunset Region Coach of the Year in 2017, Desert Region Coach of the Year in 2019, and Nevada Preps Coach of the Year in 2017 and 2019. Coach Schlauder took over the Durango women's program in 2013, after four consecutive losing seasons. The Trailblazers have consistently improved under Coach Schlauder's direction, mostly recently finishing in 2019 as Nevada 4A State Runner Up.

Coach Schlauder is also a Durango volleyball alum, where her achievements include being named the 2004 Nevada Gatorade Player of the Year, a Top 10 Finalist for the National Player of the Year, and a two-time inductee into Durango's Athletic Hall of Fame.

Coach Schlauder attended BYU, where she led her team to the "Elite 8" in the 2007 NCAA Tournament. She was named to the NCAA Regional All-Tournament Team, establishing and still holding the BYU record for highest career assists per game. Coach Schlauder has coached for several successful club volleyball programs including Utah Elite, Vegas Encore, and Nevada Juniors. She is excited to have you at camp. Go Blazers!
