Andrew Veeder - Co-Director

Andrew Veeder is the assistant women's tennis coach at University of Arizona.

Veeder has spent the past two seasons as an assistant women’s tennis coach at the University of Central Florida under head coach Stephanie Nickitas. During his time at UCF, the Knights had a record of 25-14 with a 13-7 record in 2015 and a 12-7 record in 2016.

In 2016, Veeder helped coach three All-Conference honorees in Cortney Cesarini, Monica Matias and Natalia Serrano. The three honorees on the all-conference team were the most for UCF since the 2004 season. He also helped coach Caroline Eberhart who was named to the All-American Athletic Conference Team in 2015.

Veeder was named the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division II South Region Women’s Assistant Coach of the Year back in 2013 when he was an assistant at the Florida Institute of Technology. He helped Kristina Huba achieve a No. 9 national singles ranking and ITA All-America accolades, while she partnered with Natasa Vukovic for a No. 25 doubles ranking. Huba went on to record 80 singles wins to set the school record.

Prior to coaching at the Florida Institute of Technology, Veeder was on the coaching staff at Georgetown Prep Tennis Club for one year where he trained juniors and adults. He helped organize and manage year-round clinics as well as teach private lessons.

Veeder is a graduate of Gardner-Webb University, where he played tennis for four years. He accumulated 41 career doubles victories while playing at the top of the lineup in all four seasons and finished with 35 career singles wins. Veeder was also an ITA Academic All-American and was named to the All-Atlantic Sun Conference team as a freshman. The Brevard, N.C. native received his Master’s Degree in Business Administration at the Florida Institute of Technology.
