Angelo Posillico

Angelo Posillico is the head coach for cross country and track & field at SUNY Oneonta. He has been a part of the Red Dragon coaching staff since 2010. He will be coaching throws.

During his time at Oneonta, Posillico's throwers have set 3 SUNYAC records, 11 school records, made 14 appearances at the NCAA Championships, and won 17 conference titles. Prior to Oneonta, Posillico coached at the University of Redlands, where he helped to develop Mackenzie Smith, a 4-time All-American in the women's javelin throw.

A student of the sport, Posillico has attended numerous coaching clinics. He holds IAAF Level 5 as well as USA Track & Field Level 3 certification in the throws. Posillico is also a USTFCCCA throws specialist, as well as a NSCA Certified Strength & Condition Specialist. Most recently, he presented on the technical development of the hammer throw at the 2014 National Throws Coaches Association national convention.

Posillico competed as a thrower at SUNY Oneonta, graduating in 2008 with a degree in Biology.
