Annetra Taylor

Annetra Taylor is the Assistant Middle School Field Hockey Coach at The Ellis School.
Annetra is originally from Louisville, KY where she started playing field hockey in 5th grade at Sacred Heart Model School. She then stayed on campus and went to the all-girls high school, Sacred Heart Academy, where she continued to play. She also played club with the International Field Hockey Club of Kentucky (IFHCK) and with the US Futures program. Annetra decided to go to the University of Louisville and started a field hockey club there. She graduated with a nursing degree and was a travel labor and delivery nurse for many years over the US. She went back to school at Frontier Nursing University to get her master's. Annetra moved to Pittsburgh two years ago in order to be a certified nurse midwife and women’s health practitioner at The Midwife Center in the Strip District. She is excited to help mold young players and allow them to fall in love with the game.
