Ashley Ciepiela
Head Coach
Ashley Ciepiela joined the MCLA staff in August of 2018. She was named the program's interim head coach along with Amanda Meczywor in November.
Coach Ciepiela came to MCLA after being a standout player for Becker College from 2014-2017 and a brief assistant coaching stint at SVC. She graduated from Becker in May ’17 with a Bachelor’s Of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Management.
While a four-year member of Becker’s softball program, Ciepiela was a starting first baseman for the Hawks. She was named to the ALL-NECC Second Team in 2017- the same year in which she was a captain for the program and recipient of Becker’s Best Defensive Player of the Year Award. Ciepiela was selected for the Hawk’s Coaches Award in both 2015 and 2016, and she helped the College win it’s first NECC Conference Softball Championship in 2016.
For the last four years Ashley has been a softball coach for a Nike Softball Camp in Amherst, MA. This past summer she was named Assistant Director, with the task of assisting in running the program, staffing the other coaches, and creating the field schedule for the camp.
