Ashley Prim
Assistant Coach
Ashley Prim joined Coach Mannetti's staff as the program's Coordinator of Basketball Operations in 2019 and transitioned to a coaching role for the Pioneers in 2020-21. In her new role, Prim assists with recruiting, scouting, community outreach and guard development.
Prim spent her collegiate playing career at Saint Joseph’s (2009-13) wherein she scored 927 points in 123 career games. She helped lead the Hawks to a mark of 82-47 in her playing career while she was a team captain during Saint Joseph’s 2012-13 Atlantic-10 Championship winning season. Prim graduated with a bachelor’s of science degree in sports marketing and was a member of the Atlantic-10 and SJU Athletic Director’s Honor Rolls.
Her playing days continued as she spent time in professional leagues in five countries including Puerto Rico, Bulgaria, Ireland, Mongolia and Dubai.
Prior to SHU, Prim most-recently spent time as an assistant coach for both the Kolbe Cathedral girls’ basketball and boys’ volleyball teams in the 2018-19 season.
