Benjamin Jordon

Ben Jordon is entering his 3rd year at Westcliff University as the current Associate Head Coach. His passion for coaching stems from his desire to teach the sport that has helped him so much.

Prior to moving to California, Jordon worked with Starkville Soccer Association in Mississippi as a Foundation Phase Coach. Jordon is involved in all areas of youth soccer in Irvine and Orange County, where he is the current Director of Coaching at Irvine Futbol Club and Program Director/Varsity Boy's Head Coach at Portola High School in Irvine.

Jordon’s passion for soccer began in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo where he played all of his youth soccer while attending The American School of Kinshasa (TASOK). At TASOK, Jordon competed in several international tournaments in South Africa against top teams from all over the continent. Jordon went on to play 2 years at Meridian Community College (MCC) in the NJCAA DI, where they challenged for the MACJC Region 23 Title both years. After MCC he transferred to Mississippi State University where he continued playing soccer while earning his dual Finance/Economics degree.

Jordon has a strong passion for sharing his love for ‘The Beautiful Game” - throughout his life, soccer has been the only constant. He seeks to inspire kids through soccer and help to provide local opportunities in the community. Jordon started his own business, "Jordon Football Training' as he is always looking for ways to give back to local youth soccer players and hopes that he can help kids achieve their dreams through the sport of soccer. Jordon's coaching philosophy revolves around always having a positive impact in players' lives as they grow into fantastic individuals.
