Bill Aronson
Tennis Director
With nearly four decades of experience as a tennis professional, sport psychologist, and educator, Bill has made significant contributions to both the tennis and sport psychology fields, internationally and locally.
Bill is a Certified Tennis Professional, holding credentials from both the PTR and USPTA for 39 years. He is also Pickleball Certified by the PPR. Bill’s tennis career includes being a former Harry Hopman Tennis Professional at Saddlebrook Resort in Tampa, Florida, where he had the opportunity to work with and be mentored by legends such as Howard Moore, Roland Jaeger, and Alvaro Bentacur. He spent over 15 years as a Tennis Professional at the Biltmore Tennis Center in Miami, and he also served as the Administrator for Sport Science at the USTA Player Development program in Key Biscayne.
In addition to his tennis expertise, Bill is a Sport Psychologist. He has served as an Adjunct Professor at several Miami universities, teaching courses in Sport Psychology, Human Growth and Development, and Sport Ethics. These universities include the University of Miami, Florida International University, Barry University, St. Thomas University, Miami Dade College, Florida Memorial University, and the United States Sports Academy.
Bill’s global coaching experience is extensive, having traveled and taught in numerous countries, including Uruguay, Malaysia, Australia, Thailand, Jamaica, Dominica, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Venezuela, Israel, England, and Cuba.
Furthermore, Bill founded the Boston Wheelchair and Tennis Association, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. He has also conducted Wheelchair Tennis Clinics at prestigious events such as the International Hall of Fame and the Eagle Tournament of Champions in New York.
