Directing camp is Billy Dineen, head men’s lacrosse coach at Benedictine College. Coach Dineen comes to Benedictine College after a successful tenor at Midland University in Omaha.

Dineen is a 2019 graduate of the University of Saint Mary (Kan.) with a degree in Sport Management. While at USM, he was a two-time all-conference performer, collecting a pair of conference Player of the Week laurels and was also named the NAIA Offensive Player of the Month (1x).

Dineen helped USM to a national tournament bid as a junior and led his squad in goals (29) and assists (63) as a senior. He finished with 128 points in his career. He was twice named a team captain and also was named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete.

A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Dineen played high school lacrosse at Omaha Creighton Prep where he earned three First-Team All-State honors, was awarded the Westside Player of the Year in 2010, and guided his team to two state titles.

He has coached youth and high school lacrosse for six years, most recently serving as the Offensive Coordinator for Blue Valley West HS during the 2018-2019 season, and an assistant at William Penn University.

While at William Penn, Dineen was the Offensive Coordinator and Goalie Coach for the men’s lacrosse team. He also was the women’s goalie coach and helped with player development on and off the field.
