Bob Youngs

Bob Youngs returns for his eighth year as an assistant coach for Davenport. While he runs batting practice, he served as first base coach until the 2014 season as he moved into the dugout to assist head coach Kevin Tidey.

Youngs, a graduate of Ferris State, has served as the assistant and head baseball coach at Belding High School for a combined 18 years. During his time at Belding, he helped lead them to the quarterfinal round in 1997. Youngs has also assisted with the Belding girls varsity basketball program for two years.

Youngs played two seasons at Grand Rapids CC where the Raiders finished third in the Junior College World Series. He then transferred to Ferris State to play two years for the Bulldogs to complete his collegiate career.
