Oak Brook Bath & Tennis Club is excited to welcome Brian (Tako) Takemoto as our Tennis Professional. Brian brings more than 25 years of coaching experience and an outstanding competitive background, including state champion in singles, hall of fame in high school and university, national junior rankings and a collegiate career at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he helped lead the program to its first conference championship and NCAA Tournament appearance.
Brian is already a familiar face to many members, having worked at the club during the 2025 season, and he is excited to build on the momentum and program development he began last summer. As he steps into leading the program, Brian looks forward to putting his personal imprint on Oak Brook Bath & Tennis - expending opportunities for players of all ages, strengthening the club's tennis culture, and continuing to grow a fun, competitive, and welcoming environment on the courts. Known for his positive energy and player-focused coaching style, Brian is passionate about helping players of all ages improve, compete, and enjoy the game.
