Brody Lewis
Assistant Coach
Brody Lewis will be on staff for the Cal Swim Camp.
Lewis came to Berkeley after spending four seasons as an assistant coach at Utah, where he coached or recruited over half of Utah’s men’s top-10 all-time event performers, one NCAA All-American, three Pac-12 podium finishes, 24 Big-12 podium finishes and 12 school records. Prior to Utah, Lewis spent a season under the same title at the University of Northern Colorado where he was a part of the Bears’ women’s swimming & diving team that broke 16 school records and recorded 81 top-10 performances in program history.
A native of Greeley, Colorado, Lewis swam at Utah and qualified for the Pac-12 Championships in each of his four years with the Utes and was an NCAA B Cut Qualifier in 2017, 2018 and 2020. He owns the fourth-fastest 200 breast time in program history as well as the sixth-fastest 100 breast time. Lewis qualified for the USA Olympic Trials in 2020 in both the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke.
Lewis earned his master’s degree in sports coaching from Northern Colorado and his bachelor’s in kinesiology teaching with a minor in nutrition from Utah.
