In 2021, as a redshirt sophomore, Kancey was named first-team All-ACC and third team Associated Press All-American. Against North Carolina, Kancey had a career high six tackles and a sack. In 2020, Calijah Kancey was named a Freshman All-American totaling 27 tackles. Calijah Kancey is from Miami, Florida.
