Callahan Kent Franklin Road Academy Nike Lacrosse

Callahan Kent was a goalie for the Vanderbilt University Women’s Lacrosse team. While growing up in Norwell, MA she attended Thayer Academy, where she lettered in both lacrosse and ice hockey.

During her time in High School at Thayer Academy, she was a four-year varsity starter, won the 2011-12 ISL championship, four-year honor roll student. She played on the Lower New England Team I of Eastern Massachusetts Girl’s Lacrosse Coaches Association, which won 2012 high school division national tournament and played for New England in Under Armour Underclassmen events in 2011-2013. In her college years, she was a 2017 Preseason All-BIG EAST, 2016 All-BIG EAST Second Team 2016 BIG-EAST Defender of the Week and a member of the Student Athlete Academic Committee senior year.

Over the course of her college and post college years, she has helped coached for the Nashville based club lacrosse team TN Lax. After majoring in Human and Organizational Development at Vanderbilt University, Kent became a Faculty Fellow at Franklin Road Academy in the 5th and 7th grade math classes. She also coached Middle School and Upper School Soccer, as well as starting the first lacrosse program at FRA. She currently serves as the 5th grade math teacher and lacrosse coach at FRA.
