Eric Praetorius
Director of Volleyball at the Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus.
Eric Praetorius has been a successful volleyball coach and program director at all three competitive levels in Florida for more than a decade.
He started by transforming Tampa Elite Volleyball from a brand new club program in 2011 to a national power by the time he left in 2018, where he won both an AAU National Championship (U17, 2014) and a USA Volleyball Junior Olympic Championship (2017). More than ten of his Tampa Elite players were named to AAU National Championship All-Tournament teams during that time.
He was named the USA Volleyball Florida Region Outstanding Junior Coach in 2012, the American Volleyball Coaches Assn. Coach ofWhile still coaching and running the Tampa Elite club program, he became the volleyball coach at Carrollwood Day School in Tampa (2013-17), where he finished with a 112-16 record, which included a Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) State Championship (2017), a State Championship runner-up (2014) and one other State Semifinal appearance (2015). He was named the FHSAA Class 3A Coach of the Year in 2014 and the Class 4A FHSAA Coach of the Year in 2017.
From 2018-19, Eric was the men’s head volleyball coach at Webber International University in Babson Park, FL, where he led the Warriors to the most wins in a single season in their history. He also assisted with the WIU women’s beach volleyball program, which made the NAIA-D1 top-10.RADDSports is proud to have Eric as the director of volleyball at the new Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus of Pasco County.
