Charissa Duncan

Charissa Duncan was introduced as the new Head Softball Coach in October of 2023. Duncan joined the softball staff prior to the 2023 softball season. Prior to coming to campus, Duncan spent the past six years as the head coach at Jesse Carson High School in China Grove, N.C.
Duncan was a four-year utility player under head coach Dennis Shores from 2006-10. She graduated with school standards for doubles, stolen bases while ranking among Quakers' all-time leaders in games played, runs scored and RBI. In 2010, she earned All-ODAC Honorable Mention, named Guilford's Best Female Athlete and the Richard Joyce Most Improved Athlete.
For the past decade, Duncan had enjoyed teaching and coaching both at the high school and travel ball levels and was excited for the opportunity to join the Guilford College softball coaching staff.
