Chris Brown
Coach
Chris Brown begins his first season as the volunteer assistant coach of the Fairfield baseball team. Brown has a wealth of knowledge developing young talent, currently serving as the head coach of the Westport Wreckers Travel Baseball Program. With the Wreckers, Brown has led almost every age group, most recently being named co-Head Coach of the 18U squad.
Brown also is the lead instructor of the Integrated Sports Training (IST) and Kids Sports Zone. In that position, he aims to develop athletes into baseball players by teaching the fundamentals of baseball in regards to hitting, pitching, and fielding.
Brown has also served as the head coach of the Norwalk American Legion Post 12 Baseball team, which he led to a Legion State Championship in 2011 and was named the Legion Coach of the Year.
Brown graduated from Bryant University in 2006, and helped the Bulldogs to the Divsion II College World Series in 2004 and the Northeast Regional Championship that season.
After graduation, Brown spent six months at the University of New Haven as the Associate Director of Athletics in charge of Business Affairs and Marketing.
