Corey Harbert

Corey Harbert is a native of Plano, Texas and attended Ennis High School. He will enter his 2nd year on the Parish Episcopal HS staff as the Wide Receivers Coach.

In his first season as a high school coach, his coaching endeavors bolstered Parish Episcopal to win the Texas State Championship in TAPPS Division I 6A Division. His coaching and mentorship successfully assisted 17 student athletes from the Class of 2021 to receive collegiate scholarships.

Currently, Coach Harbert has served as the Team Director for the Dallas (TX) Metroplex Football University (FBU) youth national championship team over the last 6 years. He has been an integral part of the FBU Texas Regional success for the last 10 years. During this timeframe, he has been able to successfully win (5) National Championships, (15) State Championships, (3) National Runner-Up finishes and (2) 3rd Place out of 32 FBU national tournament teams across the country.

Also, Coach Harbert has coached (12) Freshman All- Americans, (3) FBU/NBC All-American Bowl athletes along with (1) Under Armour All-American. He has served as the defensive coordinator and offensive coordinator for several Youth All American Games, which has led to an array of nationally recognized high-profile D-1 prospects.

Additionally, he currently serves as the Director for the Dallas TX Region for the NextGen and Football University Camps which are some of the premier camps on the nationally recognized youth football landscape. He also has served for 3 years as one of two invited coaches to lead student athletes within The Show by NextGen which is held annually at the prestigious IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

Coach Corey was a dual sport collegiate athlete at Southwestern Oklahoma State where he still holds records for over 20+ years in basketball. While attending SWOSU, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology & Psychology and currently is furthering his education toward a Master of Education. Coach Harbert is the father of three (2 boys, 1 girl) in which all participate in sporting events with a high academic background.
