Cory Churchman
University of North Texas Men's Golf Assistant Coach
Cory Churchman will serve as Camp Coach for the Nike Golf Camp at the University of North Texas.
Cory Churchman was hired as the men's golf assistant coach prior to the 2022-23 season.
Churchman, a native of Abilene, Texas, played his college golf at UNT, before graduating Cum Laude in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in Finance. He was a team captain as a junior and played in all but one event for the Mean Green during his four years in Denton.
While at UNT, he was selected All-Conference USA Second Team in 2016 and 2017 and was named to the conference all-tournament team in 2015 and 2017, when he was the individual runner-up at the conference championship. In 2015, he helped lead the Mean Green to a team conference championship and was a NCAA Regional qualifier in 2015 and 2017, when he earned an at-large individual bid.
In 2017, he was honored as UNT's Men's Student-Athlete of the Year and was also selected as the team MVP. As a senior, he was selected as a Cleveland/Srixon All-American Scholar.
