Coach Maclay has had a stellar playing career at Division One, Stony Brook University, appearing in mulitple NCAA Tournaments and serving as Team Captain in 2025.

2024 (Junior): Appeared in 17 games for the Seawolves... Set new career highs across every major statistic... Tallied 17 total points on 14 goals and three assists... Recorded first career hat trick against Monmouth on Mar. 29.
2023 (Sophomore): Appeared in 11 games… Scored four goals for the season… Added two ground balls, and one caused turnover… Scored two goals at Monmouth (April 7)... Picked up one ground ball vs Hofstra (April 28).
2022 (Freshman): Appeared in two games … Tallied an assist against New Hampshire on April 9 … Totaled one assist and one ground ball on the year.
AT WILLIAMSVILLE EAST: Four-year letterwinner with the Flames, captaining her senior season ... 2021 Section VI Champion and All-Western New York Team One selection ... Scored 93 goals her senior season after 87 her junior year ... broke her school's single-season and career goals record ... also played three years of basketball and field hockey, earning All-State and All-WNY honors in the latter.
