Jordan Ingram

Ingram joined the University of the Sciences men’s basketball program as an assistant coach prior to the 2016-17 season. In his first season, he helped lead the Devils to their fifth straight Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament appearance.

Prior to his arrival at USciences, Ingram earned several years of experience at the high school and collegiate levels.

He began his coaching career at his alma mater, Archbishop Carroll High School, as an assistant coach under his former head coach, Paul Romanczuk, in 2008 before serving as an assistant again in 2011. At Carroll, Ingram coached such players as Derrick Jones Jr. (NBA G League/UNLV), D.J. Irving (Overseas/ Boston University) and Juan’ya Green (Overseas/Hofstra).

In 2010, Ingram was an assistant coach at Harriton High School, where he led players such as Matt Sherman (Haverford College) and the Rams to their fourth-straight District I playoff appearance. He then spent one season as an assistant coach at Solebury School, helping lead Blake Bozeman (Morgan State) and the Spartans to a berth in the Pa. Independent Schools State Tournament.

From 2013-2015, Ingram was the lead assistant at Mercer County Community College under former Princeton University great, Howard Levy. His responsibilities included recruiting, player development, scouting, proposing the team budget, fundraising and running study halls.

In Ingram's three seasons, he helped the Vikings to three straight playoff appearances, an NJCAA Top-15 ranking and two Region XIX Finals appearances. A tireless recruiter, he coached two NJCAA All-Americans (David Johnson and Mustafa El-Amin), five All-League selections and transferred six players over to four-year colleges.

In 2016, Ingram coached at Rosemont College and was a part of a staff that reached the semifinal round of the CSAC Conference Tournament. He coached a CSAC Player of the Year selection (Marcus Thomas) and recruited an All-CSAC/ Division III All-American (Jamier Hughes). Both players are currently playing professionally overseas.

During the offseason, he also coached with Team Final AAU.

Active in the summer basketball scene, Ingram has worked basketball camps for the Hoop Group, Georgetown University, Princeton University, the University of Pennsylvania, American University and many more. He's has also run basketball clinics throughout the Philly area with players that went on to play collegiately at various levels.

As a player, Ingram starred collegiately at Fairleigh Dickinson University. At FDU, he participated on the Knights teams that qualified for the NCAA Tournament and NIT in consecutive years.

He graduated from FDU in 2007 with a cum laude honors and a bachelor’s degree in Communications.

As a player at Carroll, he was a four-year starter and scored over 1,200 points, grabbed over 1,000 rebounds and blocked over 300 shots.
