Dan Szramowski
Assistant Coach
Coach Dan returned to Saint Vincent in 2012 for his second stint with the Bearcats as Assistant Men's Basketball Coach. During this time, the Bearcats have claimed four PAC Tournament Championships (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016) and four PAC regular season titles (2013, 2015, 2016, 2017).
A 2004 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, he was a student assistant for five years, through the 2005 season, working under Ben Howland and Jamie Dixon.
In 2007, he joined the Saint Vincent staff as assistant coach, serving in that position for two seasons under Coach Harris.
In 2009, he accepted a job at NCAA Division I University of Rhode Island as video coordinator, under Coach Jim Baron. After two seasons, he added the title of Director of Basketball Operations, serving in that role through the 2011-12 season.
"I'm excited to return to Saint Vincent. When I was here before, we were still transitioning to the NCAA and weren't eligible for post-season play. I'm looking forward to having the chance to compete in the PAC post-season this time around."
Dan and his wife, Jackie, reside in Murrysville with their son, Cam.
