Daniel Swier
Camp Director

Dan Swier has built one of the most successful eras in Northwestern College men's soccer history, leading the Raiders since 2008 and becoming the program’s all-time winningest coach with 163 victories. After seventeen seasons in charge, Swier has cemented his legacy with championship success, player development, and a culture of excellence.
Under his leadership, Northwestern captured the 2023 GPAC tournament title—its second-ever conference championship—following a 2021 GPAC regular season title. His teams have consistently ranked among the conference’s best, finishing in the top five of the GPAC nine times and qualifying for the conference tournament 14 times in 16 seasons, including a streak of 12 consecutive appearances.
A former standout player for the Raiders himself, Swier understands the dedication and discipline required for success at the collegiate level. His impact extends beyond the field, producing 94 All-Conference players, 60 NAIA Scholar-Athletes, and four Academic All-Americans, while leading his team to NAIA Scholar Team recognition for ten straight years. In 2021, his excellence was recognized as he was named GPAC Coach of the Year. With a Master’s in Exercise Physiology from the University of Texas at Arlington, Swier blends tactical acumen with a deep commitment to player growth, shaping not just great athletes, but well-rounded individuals ready for success beyond college.
