Daria lucchesi coach

Daria Lucchesi is a former attacker from James Madison University in Virginia. During her time at JMU, she won the 2018 DI National Championship, 3 CAA titles (without the 2020 season which was cancelled due to COVID19) conference honors throughout her 4 years. She has just wrapped up her lacrosse career scoring 4 goals at the 2021 NCAA tournament Sweet 16.

Prior to her college career, Daria was an All American, All Area, & Team Captain at her high school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a freshman, sophomore, & junior in high school Daria helped Team Pa win the national championship in the Brine National Lacrosse Classic for 3 consecutive years. She was also a 3x participant in the All American Tournament.

Growing up, Daria played boy's football and ice hockey, basketball, and ran track. She discovered lacrosse at the age of 9. In fact, on her first day of girl's lacrosse, she showed up with a boys stick! Daria has since gotten a girl's stick and lacrosse has taken her around the country whether in lacrosse tournaments, camps, or clinics. When she is not on the field, she is helping lacrosse players get better on and off it.

Daria firmly believes that her success as an athlete is the condition on which she leaves the game for the next generation. She is the founder of Pro Theory, a media and technology platform built to accelerate the growth and development of the next generation of athletes. Daria also founded The Lax Collective and Lax Ops during her time as a student athlete at JMU.
