His senior year at Archbishop Hoban, Cleveland.com named him the All-Area defensive player of the year. In 2020, Peterson was named to the 2020 USA Today All-USA preseason team for high school football. His senior season at Hoban, he led the team to an 11-0 record and a state title. Peterson will work with the linebackers at Nike Football Skills Camp Akron.
