Assistant Coach
David Levy
David Levy joined the UIndy women's basketball staff in June 2023.
Levy previously had served as Coordinator of Recreational Activities & Camps/Assistant Women's Basketball Coach/Recruiting Coordinator at Dominican University, a member of NCAA Division III in North River, Ill., since July 2021. Before Dominican, Levy spent the 2020-21 campaign at DII member Davis & Elkins as an assistant coach.
Prior to D&E, Levy was a graduate assistant at Northwestern during the 2019-20 season, where he helped lead the Wildcats to a share of the Big 10 title for the first time in 30 years. Also at Northwestern, Levy cut scouting, game, and practice film in addition to assisting with on-court practice activities and working with the Director of Basketball Operations.
In addition, Levy was an advanced statistician and consultant for Knox College for the 2017-18 season and worked as a game day operations intern with the Chicago Sky in 2019, while most recently serving as a basketball camp coach with the WNBA franchise.
Levy graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics, adding minors in business and statistics, from Knox College in 2018. He completed his master's degree in sports administration with a specialization in sport analytics from Northwestern in 2020.
