David Oliver

David Oliver is the Director of Track & Field at Howard University.
A World Champion, Olympian, and Howard University alum, Coach Oliver has been leading the Howard University Bison Track & Field program since 2017.
Coach Oliver returned to Howard University in 2017 after being inducted into the 2014 Howard University Athletics Hall of Fame and the 2016 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Hall of Fame. Oliver recently led the Howard women to a 1st place finish and the men to a 2nd place finish at both the 2022 MEAC Indoor and Outdoor Championships.
As an athlete, Oliver was the 2008 Olympic Bronze Medalist in the 110-meter hurdles, and the 2013 World Champion in the same event. On the indoor track and field stage, he earned the Gold medal in the 2008 USA Indoor Championships in the 60-meter hurdles and bronze in the 2010 World Championships.
