Coach Profile
Director
Billy Boyer
Billy Boyer enters his second year on the Redhawks' coaching staff in 2018-19.
Boyer spent the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons as a student manager for the UW Huskies. He played four years of professional baseball after being drafted in the 19th round of the 2003 MLB Draft by the Anaheim Angels. Previous to UW, Boyer served as the assistant coach at Pierce Community College where he helped the team win the NWAACC title.
"Billy has one of the best reputations in the Northwest for infield play," said Head Coach Donny Harrel. "He will assist with our offense and take over the running game, as well as our small game. Billy is a grinder and has a great mentality for helping young men get better in the areas. We are excited that we were able to stay local with Billy and he has a lot of connections in the community and baseball world that will allow us to have a great presence in the south part of Seattle."
