Doug Wert

Doug Wert is the Director of Golf at Cider Ridge Golf Club. Raised in the Woodlands, TX, Doug graduated from Mississippi State University in 1989 with a degree in PGA Professional Golf Management/Marketing and an MBA from The University of Colorado Executive Program in 2007.

A PGA member since 1993 he has over 25 years experience in the business of golf. His experience includes management positions at The TPC at Southwind, Penn State University Golf Courses, Oak Creek Country Club in Sedona, AZ, and Director of The PGA Golf Management Program at The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. He also has over 25 years of experience in golf instruction. Wert’s family includes his wife Wendy, and two sons, Hunter and Jack. In his spare time Doug enjoys hiking, fishing, time with his family, and time at church. Random fact about Doug is he once held a Guinness World Record. He played 440 holes in 12 hours in 1993 to raise money for charity.
