Coach

Ed Jaskulski - Coach

Ed Jaskulski was named the director of cross country and track & field following the 2013-14 season and was the interim director for The College at Brockport last season. Jaskulski served as an assistant to the programs since 2002.

Jaskulski was honored by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as the NCAA's Atlantic Region Women's Assistant Coach of the Year during 2011 and 2010. A 2003 Brockport graduate, Jaskulski served as an assistant coach for eight years, and has overseen the Golden Eagles' throwers during a recent stretch of national success.

During his coaching tenure, Jaskulski has coached 35 NCAA participants, 21 All-Americans, one national champion with Zach Ferrara winning the pole vault title at the 2012-13 Indoor championships, 51 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) champions, 17 state champions and three Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) champions.

In 2009, Jaskulski was promoted to interim head coach for the outdoor track & field squads and was selected as the SUNYAC Coach of the Year for women's track and field as the Golden Eagles captured their first SUNYAC title for the women.

Jaskulski serves as the college’s strength and conditioning coach. He will apply his extensive strength and conditioning knowledge and 15 plus years of training under the bar to the development of weight training regimens for the Brockport student-athletes.

In addition to the 2009 Women’s Outdoor Championship, he has coached the men’s (2007 and 2008) and women’s (2008) Outdoor New York State Collegiate Track Conference (NYSCTC) championship team and the 2007 Men’s Indoor ECAC championship team.

Jaskulski holds a B.S. in Physical Education and a M.S. in Physical Education/Pedagogy from The College at Brockport.

As an undergraduate, Jaskulski was a captain for the Golden Eagle football team, as well as a shot put and discus thrower for the track and field teams. As a senior, Jaskulski narrowly missed qualifying for the Division III nationals in the shot put.
