A native Washingtonian from Wilson HS. Recruited to play LB at SC State Univ. Switched to WR due to a shoulder injury and subsequently was drafted by the Detroit Lions in 1982.
Had a promising career cut short after an ACL knee injury. The ACL Rehab led to a career in Physical Therapy. A licensed PT in Maryland for more than 30 yrs. Ed has also coached from youth football up through high school.
