Emily Kalmink is the Head Beach Volleyball and Assistant Indoor Coach at Tusculum University.
Emily Kalmink brings over five years of collegiate indoor and beach volleyball coaching experience to the court, along with a proven track record of developing athletes and building strong, competitive programs. She currently serves as the Head Beach Volleyball and Assistant indoor Coach at Tusculum University, where she has led the program since 2024 and established a culture centered on discipline, communication, and growth.
Before taking over at Tusculum, Emily spent three years as an assistant coach at Saint Leo University, contributing to recruiting, training, and in‑game strategy for a nationally respected program. Her coaching career is complemented by 2 years of teaching sport management at the collegiate level, where she emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and the athlete experience.
Emily holds a Master’s degree in Sport Management from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Southeastern University. She has also spoken at the NAIA National Championship Banquet on the what success looks like. Emily also is the primary organizer of the Greeneville Beach Bash Pairs Challenge, a tournament that has grown to include more than 40 pairs from multiple universities.
Known for her energy, communication skills, and athlete‑first approach, Emily is passionate about helping players develop confidence, master fundamentals, and compete with purpose. She’s excited to bring her experience and enthusiasm to this year’s camp and help athletes take their game to the next level.
