Emily Pritt

Emily Pritt is the BTC Chief Operations Officer, Head Coach of the Bowerman Track Club Youth program, Bowerman 5k Race Director and a BTC Elite athlete. Since joining BTC in 2015, she has been an instrumental part of the club’s growth on all levels.

Emily grew up in Ohio and was a standout in Cross Country and on the track, finishing in the top 5 in the state four times. Emily attended college at North Carolina State University where she was a Cross Country All-American and member of the U.S. team at the 2009 World Junior Cross Country Championships. After graduation she served as an Assistant Coach with the Wolfpack before moving to Portland and joining BTC in 2015. Despite dealing with years of complicated injuries throughout college, Emily’s love for the sport never dimmed and in 2017 she finished 9th at the US Cross Country Championships and represented the U.S. for the second time at the World Cross Country Championships in Kampala, Uganda.

As Head Coach of the BTC Youth Program, Emily strives to transfer that passion, knowledge and perseverance to the next generation of athletes. She takes particular pride in emphasising a supportive team culture and her competitiveness is never to be underestimated.
