Erik Supplee

Serving as the pitching coach at Columbia for the past seven seasons, Erik Supplee came to the Hilltop in the fall of 2022 after enjoying tremendous success while in New York City, which included guiding the Lions to multiple Ivy League crowns.

In 2022, Columbia advanced to the Blacksburg Regional final in the 2022 NCAA Tournament, which included knocking off WCC champion Gonzaga twice.

Prior to his stop at Columbia, Suppleee spent the 2015 season at Georgetown. While with the Hoyas, he helped the team to their first appearance in the Big East championship since 1986 as well as two of his pitchers earning all-conference honors for the first time since 2007.

Supplee also had a two-year stint at Wake Forest in 2013 + 2014, where the Demon Deacons won a combined 58 games in his two seasons in Winston-Salem.

In 2013, he served as the director of operations before being elevated to volunteer assistant coach in 2014. Before his time at Wake Forest, Supplee also had stops at Lynchburg College and Millersville University, where he began his coaching career in 2008.

Rob DiToma on Supplee: "Erik brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the development of pitchers that he has coached at his various stops. Most recently at Columbia University, he became well known nationally with his ability to recruit talented baseball players from all over the country. The amount of success he has had in recruitment and development in the past helped lead Columbia to Ivy league championships and NCAA regional game victories. We are very lucky to have Erik on our staff."
