Erin Collins

Erin Collins is entering her fourth year as both the head coach of the women's lacrosse program and as the Assistant Athletic Director who oversees business transactions.

After sporting a 4-9 overall record in her first season in Riverdale, Coach Collins saw a three win improvement one year later, resulting in a record better than .500 for the first time in a decade. The Dolphins were 2-2 to start the 2020 season before the Covid-19 pandemic.

Coach Collins spent the 2017 seasib as an assistant with Farmingdale State College, another member of the Skyline Conference. Coach Collins was a driving force behind the Rams' 18-2 record, resulting in a Skyline Conference Championship and an NCAA Tournament appearance.

Collins' pedigree in the game of lacrosse is prestigious, as she has been successful throughout every stop in her career. As a student at West Islip High Shcool on Long Island, Collins was a four-year varsity starter and was named as a First Team All American during her senior season. Upon graduation, she took her talents to the University of Maryland, where her impressive career continued. During her stint at one of the top collegiate women's lacrosse programs in the nation, Collins started all four years and helped her team capture three ACC Championships, one regular season Big 10 Championship and back-to-back National Championships in 2014 and 2015.
